as the French say, from the sea
This collection contains all things in, of and around the water. Many of you are
aware of my fascination with turtles, but the water holds and attracts so many
beautiful creatures ~~~~~ creatures that can be interpreted into wonderful
wearable pieces of jewelry. You're invited to wade through
Dichroic lampwork glass beads in shimmering shades of aqua and green are suspended
from a sterling swirl wire, and with the dangling tentacles, they look as if they

Four wonderful sterling silver shells and two beautiful sterling spacer beads
separate the aqua blues. >From the ring end of the strand, you find a lampwork
glass shell that looks so real you'll want to hold it up to your ear to hear the
sound of the ocean
across from it is a whimsical dotted sea creature bead.
There are two semi-round boro glass beads and a couple of slices that offer flowing
shades of ocean teals and finally the strand is ended with a faceted teal crystal bead.
A twisted sterling toggle with a look of a tiny piece of coral, completes the bracelet.

A lovely carved mermaid, scales and all, smiles and beckons you to look
closer at the Thai sterling shells that float around her, along with a
colorful bora lampwork glass bead next to the ring of the sterling toggle.
There is a very old “naga” (conch shell) bead on the lower side
and soft
neutral shades reminiscent of beach sand with just a touch of light umber………it
will be a bit of fantasy wrapped around your wrist.

A carved bone fish, which appears to be smiling, is the focal piece of
this bracelet, but it doesn’t out shine the two gorgeous lampwork glass
shells in shades of taupe with a touch of lavender. With the five Thai
sterling shell beads, they are all having a wonderful time together.
Certainly neutral, but never boring, this is a piece you will gravitate
to when you open your jewelry box.

Spines of black coral, an endangered species that cannot be harvested
any longer, fan out in a lovely wave to wrap around your neck. They‘re
separated by tiny pink seed pearls and, at the center, a black lampwork
glass shell with a pink lip and all the little speckles that make it look
as if it was freshly plucked from the ocean. The strand is 17” and can be
extended to 19 ½” with the sterling chain.

As if it were frozen in time while crawling across the sandy bottom
of a lagoon, this teal lampwork glass starfish has color, texture
and opalescence and looks as if it might be able to wiggle one of
those tentacles. It measures 2 ½” from top to bottom and has strands of
Iolite, lapis and faceted artisan glass in wonderful watercolor shades.
It measures 20 ½” and can go to 23” with the sterling extender.

Shades of pink with a speck of lavender in the taupe flippers and head,
this boro Lampwork glass turtle has two incredibly beautiful boro beads
to coordinate with her shell and a strand of faceted artisan glass beads
in two pretty shades of pink that finish off the necklace and take the piece
from 17” to 20” with the sterling extender.

Bug eyed and adorable, this boro lampwork turtle in aqua blue with honey-brown
flippers and head. The necklace starts with triple strands of tiny beads and is
complimented by aqua boro disks and blown glass wedge beads. The balance of the
strand is faceted artisan glass beads in a mixture of honey browns. The sterling
clasp has an extender which takes the piece from 16” to 19”

The carved bone turtle bead sets the tone for this fun and beautiful bracelet.
It is brought to life with two coordinated green & white lampwork glass beads
and a small green one near the toggle that is flanked by a lampwork glass
edge-dotted slice. Four Bali sterling beads of varying sizes are scattered
throughout and the end is finished with a filigreed sterling round with green
interior and it is held with a braided sterling toggle.

This is one of those pieces that you have to put on to appreciate! It is soft,
very feminine and, quite uniquely, made entirely of natural (not dyed) coral beads.
The center is three strands of graduated branch coral that are capped in place with
two large lampwork glass shells that were custom made to match the beads. The balance
of the strand is comprised of round coral beads with a sterling “S” clasp and an
extender chain that allows it to go from 17 ½” to 20”.

A Thai sterling angel fish appears to be happily swimming along in a sea of
large faceted aqua quartz, blue/aqua faceted artisan beads and Thai sterling seashells.
The necklace measures 21” with a 3” extender that takes it to 23”.
